The terms and conditions of paperless billing are:
-
The bill that is displayed on your online account replaces the paper bill that is sent monthly by mail. You will no longer receive a paper bill each month in the mail.
-
City of Swift Current will send you an e-mail notification when a new bill is ready. The e-mail notification will be sent to the e-mail address you have provided to the City of Swift Current. This email address provided by you, the account holder, will be deemed by you as valid and set as the account holder’s verified email address. If you do not receive an e-mail notification for your bill for any reason, including the fault of City of Swift Current or your own, you are still responsible for making payments on your account by the due date as specified by City of Swift Current.
-
The City of Swift Current will have this update completed within 10 business days, and your following month’s bill will be sent via email as a PDF.
-
By selecting this option, you acknowledge that The City of Swift Current is not responsible for lost or misdirected emails which may occur, for example, if your email address is not valid, your inbox is full, or the City of Swift Current email is sent to your “junk” email folder.
-
You have read the Key Conditions of Service which still apply, and you understand and accept them.
-
The Cities Act section 238(1)(b) states that if requested by a taxpayer, the City can fax or email a tax notice at the number or address provided by the taxpayer.
-
You can unsubscribe from paperless billing if you want by calling the City of Swift Current at (306) 778-2777.
